The five planes of user experience give me a holistic perspective of the product, in which the tail end of my work on one element overlaps with the inception of the next.
Depending on the resources available, the team’s cross-functionality, and work culture I will follow one of two models:
Lean UX for Agile environments with consistent stakeholder involvement, good developer-designer communication, and a clear problem statement.
Double Diamond for multi-faceted projects that require more upfront needfinding, and allow for internal iteration cycles.
